Whenever the batteries are disconnected or power is lost to the general module, relay module or one of the door modules, the power windows must be initialized after power is restored. Without initialization, the one-touch opening or closing of the front power windows is inoperative. Initialization of the power windows can be performed as follows. The instructions must be carried out with the doors closed and the ignition key in position II.

1. Close both front power windows as far as they will go by pressing and holding the power window switches in the second rest position.
2. When the windows are closed, hold the switches pressed for at least 3 seconds.

The power windows are now initialized. Check the one-touch operation of the front power windows.
